An alumna of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lauren Michelle Trostorff is now majoring in fashion merchandising at Louisiana State University, where she is an incoming junior. She is a daughter of Mr. Alexander Peter Trostorff and Ms. Danielle Lombardo Trostorff.
Lauren Michelle Trostorff served for four years on teams competing in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, whose sponsorship committee she chaired.
Earlier, during her years at the Louise S. McGehee School, Lauren took part in Sail Caribbean, during which she instructed underprivileged children in water safety and sailing; and modeled in and helped to raise money for High Heels for High Hopes, a local fashion show benefiting Forget Me Not NOLA efforts on behalf of orphaned and other vulnerable children in Sentebale, Africa. She also served for four years on teams competing in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, whose sponsorship committee she chaired.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys fashion styling, tennis and figure drawing. She has been employed by or served as an intern at boutiques and other stores in New Orleans and New York, including a volunteer stint with designer Kara Janx and an internship with Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation; and was set designer and production assistant for the staging of Andrew Ondrejcak play at Glass Gallery NoHo in New York. After college, Lauren would like to start an Internet fashion company.
